An Easter Basket filled with decorative
eggs that are too pretty to eat.
I always thought it was silly to make real eggs beautiful when they would
be destroyed later.
These eggs are Paper Mache' and Plastic,
covered with handmade papers, covered with gold leaf, or just painted. |

Egg Stands
Cut and stamp strips of cardstock,
stamp and stipple inks.
Add tape on inside to shape into a circle. |
|
The chenille stem arms and legs
allow the bunny to hug the egg. |
|
Stamp Bunny #3286
on matte white cardstock.
Color with colored pencils.
Cut out each piece. |
|
Add red liner tape on back. |
|
I used red chenille stems so you could see where to place them, but you would use white or pastel. |
|
Tear small pieces of mulberry paper and decoupage onto plastic egg using
Mod Podge Matte.
On a separate piece of mulberry paper,
stamp message with Versamark or embossing ink, and emboss with Pearlustre EP.
Decoupage onto covered egg the same way. |

This Plastic egg was simply painted with Lumiere paints,
then stamped with Brilliance inks. |
|
Decoupage egg with mulberry paper, then stamp, and color image on another piece of mulberry with colored pencils.
Decoupage that onto egg in same fashion. |
