It's great to have an assortment of embellishments ready to make a card.
Backgrounds, stamped images, die cuts and punchies are all great to make ahead and keep on hand..
If you have a Scan n Cut maxhine, you can fussy cut images, or cut all sorts of shapes to stamp on.
When you're making a card. you can shade, stamp, or color to match.
Most of my sentiments are stamped in black on white scraps, so I can just edge in the color of the card.
Storage.
For the longest time, I just kept all these pieces in a small tray on my worktable, but it started running over<g>
So I recently set up a photo box with old and odd size envelopes to sort and store them in. |

Whenever I'm stamping a sentiment,
I grab some white scrap,
and stamp a few more
The stamp needs to be cleaned anyway, may as well get a few more uses from it. |
