Card Artist - Jambalaya

Challenge Issued:

Advanced Prep 101

When you have a lot of elements ready,

you can throw a card toether in minutes

Make lots of backgrounds, not just a couple,

you'll always have a stash

When you have a lot of scraps, make a lot of punchies

More Punchies

It's great to have an assortment of embellishments ready to make a card.

Backgrounds, stamped images, die cuts and punchies are all great to make ahead and keep on hand..

If you have a Scan n Cut maxhine, you can fussy cut images, or cut all sorts of shapes to stamp on.

When you're making a card. you can shade, stamp, or color to match.

Most of my sentiments are stamped in black on white scraps, so I can just edge in the color of the card.

Storage.

For the longest time, I just kept all these pieces in a small tray on my worktable, but it started running over<g>

So I recently set up a photo box with old and odd size envelopes to sort and store them in.

Shapes for stamping on, cut on Scan n Cut

Whenever I'm stamping a sentiment,

I grab some white scrap,

and stamp a few more

The stamp needs to be cleaned anyway, may as well get a few more uses from it.

Stamp whole sheets with various flowers.

Cut on Scan n Cut

More images stamped, colored, and cut on Scan n Cut
